Adam Jones calls out bitter fantasy baseball trolls

Adam JonesAdam Jones was elated Wednesday after his Baltimore Orioles beat the Chicago White Sox 5-4 in 12 innings and had no time for those trying to bring down him or his teammates.

Apparently there were some people complaining about the lack of help to their fantasy teams despite the Orioles’ win:

Adam Jones tweet

That was a weird tweet for Jones to send considering he’s mostly received love from fans over Twitter lately. This was about the only negative thing we saw that was directed to him:

A lot of the fantasy-related tweets he’s been receiving lately have actually been positive:

Jones went 1-for-5 Wednesday but has been hitting well all month. Eight of his 14 home runs have come in June. He’s also batting .330 with a .994 OPS this month. Maybe Jones was defending his teammates from the fantasy trolls, because I can’t imagine any fantasy owner being frustrated with the way he has been performing lately.
