Aroldis Chapman, girlfriend Cristina still together
Aroldis Chapman and his girlfriend Cristina are still together and seem to be doing much better since their reported police incident in October.
A report published on Monday by Yahoo Sports said that Chapman’s trade to the Dodgers was being held up by a police incident in which the closer allegedly choked his girlfriend and fired several gun shots. The report said Chapman’s girlfriend was upset about something she saw on his phone and they got into a fight about it.
There were differing stories told to police by Aroldis and Cristina, and due to a lack of physical evidence and cooperation from witnesses, charges were not filed.
Maybe there was a lack of cooperation because Chapman and his girlfriend want to put the incident behind them. It certainly seems that way based on their Instagram photos.
