Bryce Harper, girlfriend Kayla Varner appear to have broken up
Washington Nationals slugger Bryce Harper was supposed to begin the 2015 MLB season as a married man, but it doesn’t look that that is going to happen. If social media is any indication, Harper and his longtime girlfriend Kayla Varner may have broken up.
Harper and Varner were engaged. They had been together for more than four years and were supposed to get married in a church on Jan. 2 and have a more traditional wedding the following day. Harper and his groomsmen had even been fitted for very flashy tuxedos.
But the Washington Post reports that the wedding did not happen. Not only that, but Harper and Varner have deleted any recent references to each other on social media and stopped following each other on Twitter. Varner used to frequently upload photos to Instagram of her and Bryce, but she hasn’t done that since Nov. 30.
Remember that time Harper did this for Varner before they went on a date? The two seemed so happy together. It’s hard to believe they called off their marriage.
