Bryce Harper ‘can’t stand’ hitting at Camden Yards
Bryce Harper does not like hitting at Camden Yards, and he has the splits to prove it.
Harper entered Sunday’s finale in Baltimore against the Orioles 5-for-26 with 10 strikeouts, a double and a home run in seven career games at Camden Yards. The home run came during Saturday night’s win.
After the game, the young slugger talked about how he dislikes the hitting environment there.
“I really don’t. I can’t stand it, actually,” Harper said via MASN. “I can’t see very well, so hopefully in the daytime (on Sunday) I see it better. I feel like it’s a little dark.”
The only places Harper has fared worse in his career are Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Houston and San Francisco. However, at the rate he’s torching the ball this season, all he needs to do is play some games there and his stats will improve greatly.
