Bryce Harper runs bases ahead of possible return
Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper continues to take significant steps toward a return to action.
On Friday, Harper was spotted at Citi Field in New York running the bases and shagging fly balls, with an evaluation by the team pending.
Bryce Harper's work today has so far included running the bases and signing autographs for a Little League team here on the field.

And now shagging flies in right field. Expected to hit tomorrow, after which the Nats will make a decision how to proceed.

The baserunning, in particular, is a great sign if you’re a Nationals fan. The team hopes to get him back next week, and this is a clear sign that everything is on schedule.
