The Miami Marlins dominated the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday, comfortably cruising to a 13-3 victory.
Obviously, there weren’t many highlights for the Dodgers. However, one came in the top of the ninth inning, when catcher Drew Butera made a relief pitching appearance.
Butera got Christian Yelich to line out and induced a ground out by Ed Lucas. Then, Butera struck out Marcell Ozuna on three pitches. The third was the above pictured 94 mph fastball.
Here’s the pitch that preceded it.
Definitely not one of Ozuna’s finer at-bats.
Butera isn’t a complete stranger to the pitcher’s mound, and it showed. He recorded a scoreless inning for the Minnesota Twins on May 20, 2012.Google+
