Report: Clayton Kershaw could miss 4-6 weeks
Clayton Kershaw could be out for a good amount of time after tweaking his back on Sunday.
FOX MLB reporter Ken Rosenthal reported on Monday that the initial prognosis is that Kershaw could be out 4-6 weeks.
Sources: Initial prognosis is that #Dodgers’ Kershaw will miss 4 to 6 weeks. Final determination will be made after he sees Dr. Watkins.

Kershaw is still set to see a back specialist before the final determination is made about his length of absence.
The Los Angeles Dodgers star pitcher left Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Braves after two scoreless innings because of back tightness and was replaced by Ross Stripling. He said afterwards that he was very frustrated by the latest back issue, which he has taken great precautions to manage.
Kershaw is 15-2 with a 2.04 ERA this season and has been a big part of the Dodgers’ success, as usual.
