Dan Haren is bored with ‘Real Housewives’ and ready for baseball

Dan-Haren

Dan Haren was traded from the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Miami Marlins last month, and there has been some speculation that the 34-year-old right-hander would rather retire than pitch in Miami. Haren even openly admitted that he would like to remain in southern California, and the Marlins have been trying to accommodate him.

Judging by a tweet Haren sent early Wednesday morning, retirement is not an option. He’s so bored with watching crummy shows all day that he can’t wait for baseball to start.

“Today I watched 6 episodes of Family Feud and I cried watching Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Haren wrote. “I think I’m ready for baseball to start.”

While the Marlins have been looking into trading Haren, he reportedly intends to at least show up for spring training. Didn’t he hear who is possibly considering becoming an owner of an MLB team like the Marlins? Pitching in Miami and making a bunch of money can’t be worse than watching Steve Harvey multiple times a day.
