Darryl Hamilton 911 call – Monica Jordan’s ex-husband asked him to call
Monica Jordan asked her ex-husband to call 911 to send police to her home for an emergency the day police believe she murdered boyfriend Darryl Hamilton before turning the gun on herself.
“I just got a call from my ex-wife. She was distraught. She asked me to come over there and call police,” Jordan’s ex-husband said in his 911 emergency call.
“I don’t know what’s the matter. I suspect it has something to do with a guy she is in a current relationship with. I certainly got the impression (that violence was going on). She said ‘it’s an emergency,'” he told the operator.
Jordan’s ex-husband explained that his children with Jordan were with him for Father’s Day. However, Jordan’s child with Hamilton, a 14-month-old son, was at home.
“They have another child together. She was calling me crying and asking me to call the police and come get the baby,” he said on the call.
When officers got to the home Jordan shared with Hamilton, they found the ex-MLB player dead near the entry of the home with multiple gunshot wounds. Jordan was found dead in another part of the home with one gunshot wound, believed to be self-inflicted as part of a murder-suicide.
