Report: Dodgers mainly interested in starting pitching
Despite all the links to back-end relievers, it is a starting pitcher that the Los Angeles Dodgers seem most motivated to get.
According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, the Dodgers have been most interested in Texas Rangers starter Yu Darvish, but have been rebuffed in their efforts so far.
#Dodgers main SP interest – pretty much their only interest – has been Yu Darvish and right now little indication #Rangers will move him

The Rangers have been using a similar line on all interested parties who have been calling about Darvish. This would seem to indicate that all the Dodgers’ links to Zach Britton have been overblown, although Clayton Kershaw’s injury may have changed focuses a bit.
