Fireworks guy has great reaction to setting them off for wrong team (Video)
In the top of the fifth inning of Tuesday’s game between the Royals and Indians, Alex Rios hit a solo home to give the Royals a 2-0 lead. Afterward, fireworks went off, as is customary when home runs are hit. Unfortunately, the game was being played at Progressive Field in Cleveland, not Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City.
As Rios rounded the bases, and fireworks boomed above the stadium, fans began to boo. Not surprisingly, the gentleman in charge of the fireworks immediately felt bad about his mistake and was not shy about show how displeased he was with himself.
You definitely can’t say this guy doesn’t care about his job.
