Florida draft prospect Gunnar Hoglund has insane pitching numbers
Florida pitching prospect Gunnar Hoglund has steadily climbed his way up MLB Draft boards over the past year, and you will understand why when you see some of the eye-popping numbers he has posted this season.
Hoglund, a Florida prep school pitcher who has committed to Ole Miss, pitched in his final regular season game on Thursday night. He did not walk anyone, which means he finished the season without walking a single hitter. Hoglund also averaged more than two strikeouts per inning.
The most amazing statistic of 2018 belongs to Gunnar Hoglund, a Florida prep right-hander who pitched in his final regular-season game tonight and has jumped into first-round consideration. In 47 1/3 innings this season, he has struck out 107 batters and walked 0.
