Hannah Davis never received gift basket from Derek Jeter

Hannah Davis never had the pleasure of receiving one of her fiance’s infamous gift baskets, likely because they don’t exist.

Derek Jeter finally addressed the gift basket rumor once he retired, and none of us were surprised to hear him label it a “dumb story.” During an interview with the “Shan & RJ Show” on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas this week, Davis issued a denial of her own.

“I never received a gift basket, that’s all I can tell you,” she said while chuckling. “It’s really sad that anyone could believe something that’s such a stupid story and makes no sense. I mean, what are you gonna do?”

If you have heard the ridiculous rumor, you understand why we all want it to be true. Believing that Jeter trades autographed memorabilia for one-night stands just makes life a little more entertaining. It’s certainly more fun than the other rumor about what Jeter makes guests do before they enter his home.

For what it’s worth, Davis was clearly more than a one-night stand. Why would she get a gift basket?
