Salazar was sidelined with a forearm strain in mid-September and it took him a while to get himself back into game shape. As good as the performances were against Toronto, the Indians will definitely feel great about having Salazar. It improves their pitching depth immensely and means they won’t have to lean as much on guys like rookie Ryan Merritt, great as he was.
