Kenley Jansen reportedly cleared to return from heart issue
Los Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen appears to be good to return after a heart scare.
According to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com, Jansen was cleared by his cardiologist on Monday and announced it with an apt use of t-shirt.
Kenley Jansen confirmed the message on his shirt: “I’m back.” Apparently got the green light from the cardiologist today.

Jansen will, in fact, return well ahead of the initial projections. That’s good news for the Dodgers, whose bullpen has struggled mightily in his absence to close out games.
The three-time All-Star has posted a 2.15 ERA this season. It’s unclear how the Dodgers will move forward with getting him back on the roster, and whether they will do so immediately.
