Manny Machado offered free crabs for life for charging mound
Manny Machado will face a lengthy suspension for charging the mound and taking a swing at Yordano Ventura on Tuesday night, but if he’s a fan of crab cakes, he’ll probably get over it quickly.
That’s because Jimmy’s Famous Seafood in Baltimore offered Machado free crab cakes, steamed crabs, and meal prep for life after the Orioles third baseman charged the mound.

Not a bad deal. In fact, Machado can even stop by during his suspension and watch the team play while indulging in his free crab cakes.
Jimmy’s has done this before, by the way, having used their seafood to try to lure free agent pitcher Ervin Santana. That effort was unsuccessful, but maybe Machado will take notice of this.
Based on this, though, as well as this gesture, maybe crime does pay in Major League Baseball.
