Marlins may be considering a trade of Jose Fernandez
Jose Fernandez has been excellent early in his career and is extremely young, making him one of the most valuable players in baseball. But as awesome and valuable as he is, apparently you cannot rule out the possibility of the Miami Marlins trading him.
Miami is not necessarily interested in trading Fernandez, but teams have been inquiring about him. The Dodgers, Diamondbacks and Yankees are said to be interested. And while the chances of the Marlins dealing Fernandez may be slim, a report says the possibility is increasing.
Source said this morning pegged odds of a Jose Fernandez trade at 1%. Now: "I'd push that into the 40s(%)." MIA can get a lot in return.

Teams may have begun contact the Marlins in response to a report saying the pitcher rejected a long-term contract offer last month. However, the Marlins still have him under team control for another three years. They are certainly in no rush to get rid of him. But if another team comes up with a monstrous trade offer for him, Miami might have to consider it.
