Miguel Cabrera leaves game with back issue
Miguel Cabrera continues to have issues with his back.
The Detroit Tigers first baseman left Saturday’s game against the Minnesota Twins after experiencing issues with his back early in the game.
Cabrera singled in the bottom of the first but was not moving well around the bases, according to the Detroit News’ Chris McCosky.

Cabrera was replaced by Efren Navarro before the top of the second inning. The 34-year-old has played in 129 games this season, which is his second-lowest total since joining the Tigers. Former Tigers manager Brad Ausmus recently said he feared Cabrera’s back problems could be chronic.
