Miguel Cabrera experiencing soreness during physical therapy
Miguel Cabrera’s return for the Detroit Tigers will be delayed.
Cabrera was not activated from the 10-day disabled list on Monday despite being eligible. Miggy was placed on the DL with a hamstring injury on May 4. While doing his physical therapy, the Tigers first baseman has experienced soreness in his hips and back, according to The Detroit News’ Chris McCosky.
Update on Cabrera: With all the treatment and PT he's doing, he's been experiencing soreness in his hips and back. That's delaying his recovery, obviously

Those issues have prevented Cabrera from doing any running or baseball activities so far.
Cabrera was limited to 130 games last season with back problems and was determined to have a big season. Though he’s hit well when healthy, injuries have been costing him games.
