Mike Trout helps high schooler ask girlfriend to prom
It looks like Gio Gonzalez opened the door for high schoolers across America earlier this month when he helped a kid ask his girlfriend to the prom. On Sunday, Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout dished out an assist to a teenaged fan via Twitter.
Trout, who is from New Jersey, helped a high schooler from his home state sweep his girlfriend off her feet by sending her a tweet. Tim Moraski must have been pretty persistent to get Trout to help him out.
Hey @emilycaracciolo your boy @Tim_Moraski is too shy to ask you so I thought I would help him out…Will you go to prom with him ???!

Naturally, young Emily was ecstatic and accepted the invitation.
@Trouty20 @Tim_Moraski YES!! Omg omg omg yes

A number of bloggers have already criticized Moraski for asking his girlfriend to the prom over Twitter, but that was only part of the plan. Let the man do his work.
How did you ask your date to the prom in high school? Between second and third periods? That’s what I thought.
