Nationals-Dodgers game suspended after three power outages (Video)
The Nationals and Dodgers began their three-game series in Washington D.C. on Friday. Unfortunately, they were unable to finish the opening game after three power outages.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, a bank of lights went out at Nationals Park causing the game to be delayed for over an hour. Power was restored, but not for long as they went out again, leading to another delay after the top of the fifth inning. The lights came back on once more, and the game proceeded to the bottom half of the inning. After the fifth was complete, a third outage occurred before the sixth inning was able to get underway.
At that point, it was decided to suspend the game with the Nationals leading 3-2. No date has been announced for the completion of the game as of yet.
