New York Mets fan wipes out in stands behind Trevor Rosenthal

Mets-fan-falls-over-seatsThe New York Mets stink, once again. They are currently 12.5 games out of first place in the NL East with a record of 24-37. During Tuesday afternoon’s loss to the St. Louis Cardinals, one Mets fan just couldn’t take it anymore.

As you can see from the Vine video above that JoeSportsFan.com’s Matt Sebek passed along, cameras caught an unbelievable moment on Tuesday when a Mets fan fell over the row of seats in front of him like he had just been shot. What happened was he had his foot on the chair in front of his when it unfolded, causing him to completely lose his balance. Hopefully the unlucky fan was OK, because I can’t stop laughing.

I’m pretty sure Cardinals pitcher Trevor Rosenthal was just checking the runner at first, but the timing was perfect. If you want to think he was peering over his shoulder at the big fella who just took a tumble, we certain don’t blame you.
