New York Post has field day with looming A-Rod suspension

So the New York Post made it pretty clear how they feel about the looming suspension Alex Rodriguez is facing. The front of the newspaper features a close-up shot of the New York Yankees third baseman, telling him, “Just go.”

The back page is equally as warm, employing a strong play on words that refers to the expectation that A-Rod will appeal whatever suspension with which he is hit by MLB.

Rodriguez is expected to be suspended for the rest of the 2013 MLB season and likely the entire 2014 season. MLB may choose to suspend Rodriguez outside of the league’s drug policy in order to limit the third baseman’s ability to appeal the suspension.
