Pablo Sandoval’s agent to meet with four teams

Pablo Sandoval’s agent will meet with four teams at the GM meetings in Phoenix, according to a report.

Sandoval, who is one of the top position players on the market, turned down a $15.3 million qualifying offer from the San Francisco Giants. He is believed to be seeking a six-year deal and has plans to meet with the Giants.

FOX MLB reporter Ken Rosenthal says that in addition to the Giants, Sandoval’s rep plans to meet with the Blue Jays, White Sox and Red Sox.

Sandoval, 28, is one of the best hitting third baseman in the league. He is a career .294/.346/.465 hitter in the regular season, and he has been even more spectacular in the postseason, posting a .344/.389/.545 slash line.

Sandoval is a bat the Giants have to bring back, in my opinion. The guy is a stud and will continue to be a strong hitter even five years from now. He is like Vlad Guerrero and just too good of a hitter to not be effective at 33 or 34.
