MLB, in its greed, will start next year's World Series even later than this year's. It is scheduled to start about now and end in November. I guess next year we may discover the identity of the first "Mr. November".

In the meantime, the paying fans have to suffer through two rain swept, windy World Series games and the children (and many adults) in the USA in the Eastern and Central time zones will not have been able to stay up for the conclusion of game 3.

Did anyone else notice how many commercials are being shown between each half inning? Obviously "television", due to the revenue it pays to MLB, calls the shots when it comes to scheduling and postponing games. It is a good short term approach by MLB, but it will hurt in the long run when kids grow up without the fond memories fo World Series games that previous generations have had.
