Reds’ Jon Moscot hit in ear trying to bunt (Video)
Cincinnati Reds pitcher Jon Moscot acted like a true pitcher at the plate on Tuesday night, but luckily he survived a scary situation.
Moscot was batting in the top of the third inning in Cincinnati’s game against the Rockies when he tried to lay down a sac bunt with a runner on first. Moscot though was buzzed in the ear by the pitch. You can actually see his ear get clipped by the pitch:
He sure is lucky that’s the only part of him the ball got. Moscot’s outing did not last long, as he was roughed up for seven runs on eight hits, including four home runs.
