Jose Reyes could reportedly find a new job quite quickly.
According to ESPN analyst Alex Cora, the Kansas City Royals are considering Reyes at second base.

Reyes played 43 games at second base in 2004 but has not played the position since. He could probably perform passably there, and the Royals do have a need after getting rid of Omar Infante on Wednesday. They also would not need to pay Reyes more than the league minimum, with Colorado stuck eating the rest of his contract.
Of course, the Royals will have to contend with controversy if they pick up Reyes, given that he’s available for free largely because of a domestic violence incident last November. He also hasn’t played a big league game in 2016. They may elect to stick with rookie second baseman Whit Merrifield, who has been hitting the ball very well since coming up to the majors.
