Scott Kazmir, Dallas Keuchel exchange tweets after trade
Scott Kazmir on Thursday was acquired by the Houston Astros a week ahead of the trade deadline, and he’s already been welcomed by one of his newest teammates.
Dallas Keuchel, who is one of two lefties on the team and the only southpaw in the starting rotation, was happy to have another lefty on the squad:

Kazmir is from Houston, which is what makes this a homecoming for him. And credit to him for offering to buy the bearded All-Star a meal. Kazmir is making $13 million this season after all, so he can probably afford to treat some teammates to dinner. Good on him.
