Tim Tebow reports to Mets instructional league, has mixed first day (Video)
Tim Tebow has formally embarked on his baseball career, and the first day sounded like it was something of a mixed bag.
Tebow practiced the fundamentals in front of a big crowd of fans and reporters alike.

Tebow did, however, have some trouble with the throwing arm.
Tebow just airmailed one from 45 feet. Over the throwing partner and fence. Not sure i've seen that before on this field.

Frankly, Tebow is already having the desired effect on the Mets. He’s getting a lot of fans, a lot of attention, and selling a lot of jerseys. Whether he actually proves to be any good at baseball is secondary.
