Report: Tyson Ross’ asking price is in $9-11 million range
Former All-Star right-hander Tyson Ross is looking to cash in after being non-tendered by the San Diego Padres.
According to a report by Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News on Wednesday, Ross, who may not be ready for the beginning of the 2017 season, has an asking price in the $9-11 million range.
Hearing Tyson Ross' asking price is $9-11 mm range & may not include incentives. High price for guy who might not be ready to start year

The 29-year-old Ross made just one start in 2016 thanks to nagging shoulder problems and eventually underwent surgery for thoraic outlet syndrome in October. He went 10-12 with a 3.86 ERA and 212 strikeouts in 33 starts during his last season of health in 2015.
That price point may scare off a number of teams given the injury concerns surrounding Ross. But with how barren the market for free agent starting pitching is this offseason, somebody may just wind up taking the bait.
