D-III umpire works game on hoverboard (Video)
If you thought instant replay was a threat to the preservation of the nostalgia that we all love with the game of baseball, we’d love to know how you feel about an umpire riding a hoverboard.
Last weekend, an umpire who worked a Johns Hopkins University baseball game was cruising around on a hoverboard. Yes, during the game.

Clearly, this guy did not see what happened to Mike Tyson recently (video here) when he tried to enjoy the hoverboard experience. He also must not be aware that these things have been known to spontaneously burst into flames.
Our guess is it’ll be a while before you see that at the MLB level.
