Andrew Bogut suffers knee injury during Game 5, will have MRI

Andrew Bogut knee

Andrew Bogut suffered a knee injury during the third quarter of Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Monday night, and he will undergo an MRI to have it examined.

The Golden State Warriors center was going up for a rebound in the third quarter when his left leg appeared to get hyperextended.

Bogut was down on the court in serious pain, grabbing his left knee.

ESPN’s Doris Burke later reported that the Warriors would not rule out Bogut’s return from the game despite him appearing to be in serious pain, but that quickly changed. The Warriors announced that Bogut had sprained his knee and would be undergoing an MRI.
