Avery Bradley: ‘Not a better feeling’ than closing out opponent on road

Boston Celtics guard Avery Bradley wants to send a bunch of Washington Wizards fans home sad.

Bradley spoke Friday of his desire to close out the Celtics’ series against the Wizards in Washington, calling it a “good test” for the team.

“You want to know something? I think [a chance to close out on the road] is big,” Bradley said, via ESPN’s Chris Forsberg. “For us to already go through that against a very good team [in the Chicago Bulls], against an intense crowd. I think it’s a good test for us.

“I always tell people there’s not a better feeling than closing out a series on someone else’s court. So it’s a great opportunity for us tonight, and I know that if we come out playing the same way we played last game, we’ll have a chance to be smiling, laughing, just like we were after the Chicago series.”

The Celtics know they’re in hostile territory, and are more than happy to play up that angle. The Wizards will have something to say about it, but Boston looks plenty motivated to put an end to this tonight.
