Bill Clinton tweets Dikembe Mutombo for blocking his view during all-star game
The west defeated the east 163-158 in the highest scoring all-star game in NBA history on Sunday. Russell Westbrook put on a show, taking home MVP honors. Pau and Marc Gasol became the first brothers to start against each other in the game’s history. It was a spectacle to be seen in New York City.
Among those on hand to take in the evening was former president Bill Clinton. While Clinton was fortunate to have really good seats, his view was temporarily blocked by one of the best defensive players in NBA history. The 42nd president had a tough time seeing about the massive figure that is Dikembe Mutombo. So, Clinton decided to let him know about it.
“Dikembe @officialmutombo – DOWN IN FRONT!! #NBAAllStarNYC” Clinton wrote via his Twitter account along with including the above photo.
The two were seen sharing a laugh courtside during the game and Clinton gave us all a reason to do the same thanks to his sense of humor and use of social media.
