Bill Simmons: Draymond Green called LeBron James a f—boy

LeBron James stepover

An ongoing question in the saga involving LeBron James and Draymond Green is what exactly Green said that set James off.

Previously, word was that Green called James a b—-, but Bill Simmons believes it was something different that prompted the response from James.

Simmons had Jimmy Butler on his “Bill Simmons Podcast” posted Wednesday, and when the two got to discussing trash talk, Simmons said that he heard Green called James a word “that began with an F and ended with boy,” according to Stephen Douglas of the Big Lead.

More offensive? Less offensive? It’s all in the eye of the beholder, and James really didn’t like it, as evidenced by his stepover. That led to Green’s flagrant foul and a bunch of quotes from the Warriors accusing James of being too sensitive. It will be interesting to see if Golden State players try to get inside James’s head a little bit in Game 6 on Thursday, and particularly how Green interacts with him coming off a suspension.
