Blake Griffin expected to play Sunday, may need offseason surgery
Blake Griffin will likely make his return to the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, but may not be out of the woods with regards to his knee injury.
Griffin told the media that he’s not fully healed, but can manage the pain well enough to fight through it with the playoffs on the horizon.

While the broken hand Griffin suffered punching an equipment manager got most of the publicity, it’s a quad injury that has kept him out this long. There will undoubtedly be a period of rust – Griffin hasn’t played in a game since Christmas – and we’ll have to watch closely to see how much the quad affects him.
