Carmelo Anthony available Wednesday, wants to ‘end the season the right way’
Carmelo Anthony will make what may be one final New York Knicks appearance after all.
Anthony is available to play Wednesday night in the Knicks’ season finale against the Philadelphia 76ers, with coach Jeff Hornacek explaining that Anthony wants to go out the right way.
Hornacek said Carmelo felt good today after scrimmaging yesterday and wanted to give it a go. "He wants to end the season the right way."

Anthony had been expected to sit one out, having been sidelined with a knee injury. He is likely to leave the Knicks this offseason, so this will give him an opportunity to bid Knicks fans farewell — and for New York fans to send him off however they see fit.
