Report: Cavaliers ‘active’ in trade talks, Kevin Love deal ‘still in play’
The Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly active in trade talks, with a three-team deal involving Kevin Love reportedly being tossed around.
According to the New York Daily News’s Frank Isola, the Cavaliers are reportedly looking at several options. Ryan Anderson is said to be a top target, and Love and Anderson Varejao have come up in talks.

Cavs also considering a trade that would include a LeBron favorite, Anderson Varejao. Portland & Philadelphia are possibilities.

Yahoo! Sports’s Marc J. Spears also reported Cleveland’s interest in Anderson.
Cleveland remains atop the Eastern Conference standings, but that isn’t good enough for a team that expects to be contending for and winning a championship. Anderson, like Love, is a stretch four, so it’s interesting that his name is coming up. Love’s name has been heavily involved in trade rumors, though he’s reportedly more likely to go during the summer. The Cavaliers have been looking at other rotational upgrades at forward like Kosta Koufos and Jared Dudley. It sounds like Cleveland is likely to do something before the Thursday deadline.
