Cavs’ Andrew Wiggins trade offer for Kevin Love said to be the best
Kevin Love is still with the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the Cleveland Cavaliers are still said to be the leaders to acquire him.
Here’s what ESPN’s Marc Stein tweeted on Thursday about a potential Love trade:
ESPN sources say that, as things stand, Minnesota likes the Cavs' Wiggins-led offer better than anything else on the table for Kevin Love

The T-Wolves have resisted trading Love and still have him under contract for another season, but they risk losing him and receiving nothing in return. It makes much more sense for them to trade him for a potential All-Star like Andrew Wiggins.
Though there has been a lot of chatter about other teams getting in the trade mix for Love, it’s pretty clear that the Cavs present the best offer.
Cleveland signed Wiggins Thursday, meaning they can’t trade him for 30 days. Once that passes, Minnesota should do the trade.
