Did Cavs’ choice of fashion play part in Game 7 win?
LeBron James is the obvious and correct answer for how the Cleveland Cavaliers managed to get this far, but don’t discount the role that their teamwide sense of fashion may have played in it as well.
ESPN’s Dave McMenamin relayed before Sunday’s Eastern Conference Finals Game 7 in Boston that the Cavs had ditched the matching suits that they wore to several games of the series after going 0-3 in them. McMenamin also shared a clip of LeBron James arriving for the contest in a more casual outfit.

Lo and behold, the Cavs would go out and defeat the Celtics by the final of 87-79 to advance to their fourth straight NBA Finals.
The matching suits gimmick, which the team had been partaking in since the first round of the playoffs, did come across as a bit tacky. Now the Cavs know what not to do if they want to maximize their chances of success in the Finals.
