Celtics lose power at practice facility, use iPhones for lighting
The Boston Celtics practice facility experienced a power outage on Thursday, but luckily for shootaround, everyone brought their iPhones.
The lights went out on the Celtics rather abruptly during their Thursday afternoon practice, but everyone soldiered on by lighting things up with iPhones. Here’s the photo, via ESPN’s Chris Forsberg:

We’ll let you make your own “shooting the lights out” joke here. No offense, guys, but that really doesn’t look like it’s helping much.
Maybe this is just an epidemic that follows Boston sports teams around. The Red Sox went to New York last season and dealt with some similar issues. Bill Belichick is probably somewhere taking notes for next season.
