Charles Barkley shares his thoughts on new tax bill
Charles Barkley may not be a Donald Trump supporter, but the NBA legend sure does seem to appreciate the tax reform that the new president has brought to the table.
With a new tax bill having passed through Congress this week, Barkley couldn’t resist the opportunity to share some political insight during Thursday night’s NBA coverage on TNT.

“They say it’s gonna trickle down. I’m gonna my fat a– down to the jewelry store and get me a new Rolex,” Barkley joked. “Thank you, Republicans. I know I can always count on y’all to take care of us rich people, the 1-percenters. Sorry, poor people. I’m hoping for y’all, but y’all ain’t got no chance.”
Judging by what Barkley said about Trump’s loyal following a while back, it’s probably safe to assume he didn’t vote for Trump — at least in the primary election. Still, Chuck has never been afraid fo brag about having a few extra bucks in his pocket. The new tax bill has made him a happy man.
