Chris Bosh on leaving Miami Heat: I don’t want to go anywhere

Chris BoshThere have been a lot of questions about what will happen with the Miami Heat this offseason, and Chris Bosh’s future is one of those big questions.

Bosh has been overshadowed by LeBron James and Dwyane Wade since joining the Heat four seasons ago. If anyone might be inclined to branch off and get his own the team, the thinking was that it might be Bosh. But he says he has no plans to do so.

Bosh was asked about his future during an interview with Dan Le Batard on ESPN Radio Tuesday and left very little wiggle room with his responses.

“Yeah, I mean, I don’t want to go anywhere. I like it here. It’s Miami. Everybody wants to come here. Yeah,” Bosh said as transcribed by the Palm Beach Post.

Bosh even said he would be willing to take less than market value to make it work with Miami.

“If that’s what it takes,” he said when asked about the possibility of taking a pay cut.

We are pretty certain that the Heat will do what they need to to bring him back. His stats don’t stand out, but he fits in very well with the squad and accepts a lesser role, which few other players as good as he is would do without causing problems.
