Chris Paul receives tribute video in return vs Clippers
Chris Paul received a tribute video and ovation from Los Angeles Clippers fans during his return to play his former team on Monday night.
Paul’s return to face the Clippers as a member of the Houston Rockets did not lead to a great reaction from the fans initially. He received a good amount of cheers when he was introduced in introductions, though the cheers were not overwhelming:

But that all changed later in the first quarter when the Clippers played a tribute video to Paul. Here it is:

CP3 should be held in extremely high regard by Clippers fans. Paul joined the Clippers for the 2011-12 season, which is when the team began the most successful run in franchise history. They reached the playoffs in every season with Paul on the roster (six years in a row) and won at least 51 games in every season except the lockout-shortened one. Though the team seemed to always come up short in the postseason and never made it past the conference semifinals, Paul’s successful run in LA helped changed the trajectory and image of the franchise. That should never be overlooked.
