Chris Paul: Loss to Kings ‘probably’ worst regular season one of career
The Los Angeles Clippers are in a tailspin right now, and the coup de grâce came on Sunday against the lowly Sacramento Kings.
After blowing an 18-point lead with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to lose at home to the Kings by the final of 98-97, Clippers guard Chris Paul said that the loss was likely the worst regular season one of his career, per Jason Jones of the Sacramento Bee.
CP3: "It's a bad loss, probably the worst one in the regular season in my career. It's tough. That was a bad one. That was a bad loss."

Paul, who is in his 12th season in the league, finished with a respectable 17 points and nine assists, but the Clippers simply went ice-cold down the stretch, missing their final nine shots from the field. Fortunately, their meltdown came on a day when the Oklahoma City Thunder, the closest team behind the Clippers in the Western Conference standings, also lost. But with Lob City now just 8-8 in the month of March and the unrest building in more ways than one, that’s about where the good news ends.
