Corey Brewer walked to Toyota Center for game 7, visited with fans on way
The Rockets erased a 3-1 deficit in their series with the Clippers to advance to the Western Conference Finals, thanks to a 113-100 victory in game seven. Long before that happened, Corey Brewer arrived to Toyota Center, perhaps not in a way you might expect.
Brewer didn’t drive to the arena. Instead, he headed out for a Sunday stroll that saw him end up at the home of the Rockets.
Just drove past Corey Brewer … walking to Toyota Center for Game 7.

As Sam Amick shared in the above photo, Brewer stopped to make a new friend on his way into Toyota Center by posing for a photo with one lucky fan. Not a bad way to endear yourself to a new fan base.
Brewer has been a key piece off of Kevin McHale’s bench since coming over from the Timberwolves in a December trade. He averaged 14 points in Houston’s opening round series win over the Mavericks and 11 points during the series against the Clippers.
