Cyclops Steve Nash Burns Spurs

I don’t know what it is about Steve Nash because the guy seems to be in the middle of a raucous constantly. He’s been bleeding from the mouth during games, the nose, and now finally right above the eye. In the third quarter of Game 4 against the Spurs, Nash was caught with a Tim Duncan elbow above his right eye. Nash was cut in that tender area, much like a boxer, and he began bleeding profusely. Nash spent several minutes being treated and he wound up getting six stitches, all the while his eye was swelling. Here are pictures of cyclops Steve Nash after getting cut in the eye:

Even with one eye shut, Nash still was making outside shots and stellar passes. He finished with 20 points and nine assists, racking up almost half his stats in the 4th quarter despite having his eye shut. Unbelievable. Three years after having the series stolen from them by the NBA the Suns get revenge on the Spurs. Too bad Utah and a weaker Cavs team don’t stand in their way from winning a championship.

For more breakdown on the Suns/Spurs series and the rest of the NBA playoffs, listen to this segment from my radio show with guest Brett Pollakoff from NBA Fanhouse.
