D’Angelo Russell unsure where he stands with Nick Young
D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young could end up sharing the same locker room again next season, and no one knows how that will turn out — not even Russell.
TMZ spoke with Russell earlier this week, and the rookie point guard tried to play dumb about the beef between him and Young. He did, however, stop short of claiming everything was fine between the two Los Angeles Lakers players.
“I don’t know,” Russell said. “Only time can tell, right? … What beef? I’m cool. I can’t speak for him.”
As everyone knows, the beef stems from the video Russell recorded (watch it here) that got Young into serious trouble with his fiancee Iggy Azalea. While Swaggy P and Iggy have seemingly smoothed things over, the same cannot be said for Young and Russell. For evidence of that, look no further than this tweet.
The Lakers are reportedly not looking to trade Russell, though they might want to move Young. Even if Young and Russell have managed to keep things civil over the past couple of months, we can’t imagine they’d be sad if they weren’t teammates next season.
