DeMar DeRozan: ‘My mindset has always been Toronto’
DeMar DeRozan doesn’t sound like a man who’s gearing up to leave the Toronto Raptors.
Despite being repeatedly linked with the Lakers, DeRozan’s spoke after the team’s loss to Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday night of a desire to spend his entire career in one city, giving a rather lukewarm assessment of his hometown of Los Angeles.

If DeRozan wants a winner, the Lakers’ rebuilding project probably isn’t terribly appealing. Given how much he speaks of loyalty and staying with one team, it’s really tough to imagine him leaving the Raptors, no matter what a certain media personality claims to know. In spite of all the speculation, DeRozan has constantly maintained that he wants to stay in Toronto, and that hasn’t changed.
