DeMarcus Cousins says he ‘absolutely’ wants to stay with Kings
All indications are that the Sacramento Kings are shopping DeMarcus Cousins in advance of Thursday night’s NBA draft. It seems like Cousins and Kings coach George Karl have no intention of coexisting, though you wouldn’t know that from what Cousins is saying.
On Wednesday night, one of Cousins’ Twitter followers asked him about the trade rumors. Cousins responded by saying he wants to stay in Sacramento and he can’t control the speculation.

Cousins made it perfectly clear last season that he didn’t want the Kings to fire former coach Michael Malone. Karl is reportedly set on unloading Cousins, and we know one team has emerged as a top suitor.
But if Cousins wants to stay and ownership truly has “zero interest” in moving him, Karl may end up having to deal with it.
